The heart of this ministry
He did not come merely to establish another religion, offer better rules, or improve human behavior. He came to reconcile us to God and make a new kind of life available.
Abundant life does not mean a life without hardship. It is life with God: truth in place of deception, freedom in place of bondage, peace in the middle of trouble, renewed thinking, new identity, purpose, and life in the Spirit.

The good news is for you
Humanity was created for life with God, but sin brought separation, darkness, corruption, and death. Jesus came to reveal the Father, bear our sin, overcome death, and reconcile us to God. The gospel is not advice about how to save yourself. It is the announcement of what God accomplished through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
